Job Title: Promotora Network Manager
Type: Exempt, Full Time, Salaried Position (40 hours per week)
Location: Remote Work, located anywhere in Colorado. Occasional travel required.
Hours: 40 hours/week, some flexibility of schedule
Rate: $40,000 - 60,000/ year, health and dental benefits provided
Supervision: Steering Committee, Project protect Food System Workers

About the Job

The focus of the work will be real-time support of the Project Protect Promotora Network, focused on communication with the regional teams and program administration. The program manager will maintain regular communication with the regional networks, including receiving and tracking needs requests, and payments and reimbursements. The program manager will ensure all Promotora team members have the necessary training. The program manager will identify areas of improvement, and potential future iterations of the network design. The Promotora Network is in the first year of operation and will face related growth challenges. The Manager will work with FrontLine Farming’s Data Activist who handles management of data systems and back end data monitoring. 



  • Communicate with regional teams regarding additional training needs, program needs, and emergent challenges

  • Coordinate training with regions and program partners; find additional training opportunities and educators. 

  • Manage the program budget, vendor relations, and ordering program materials

  • Review weekly data reports and use insights and findings to support regional teams

  • Organize and attend Regional Organizer meetings (alternating Mondays), including creation of agendas 

  • Assist with identifying funding and donor opportunities

  • Collaborate with the FrontLine Farming Data Activist to ensure data validity and to address emergent challenges in program logistics

  • Co-author bi-monthly reports on the program, with focus on regional successes.

  • Meet with each regional team at least once a month in a virtual call

  • Attend PPFS monthly meeting and Steering Committee meetings

  • Official curriculum creation

  • Travel to regions as needed to support regional organizers and to be well informed about regional specifics. 


Key Qualifications

  • Skilled in staff management and leadership (5+ years)

  • Experienced in budget management (2+ years)

  • Timely responses to electronic communication and phone calls

  • Computer literacy in google suite (google sheets, google forms, google docs)

  • Passion for social justice, leadership development, education, and advocacy

  • Ability to problem solve, to work collaboratively, and to prioritize

  • Self-direction and ownership of projects

  • Fluent and literate in Spanish and English
